First a water based epoxy a primer coat is applied, then select from Spray Stone an Epoxy Flake floor or a plain colour epoxy floor. Granite-look Spray Stone Flooring

A water-based, acrylic, Spray Stone delivers a natural look which is elegant yet practical making it our biggest selling flooring option.

This granite-look floor coating is a cost effective and hardy alternative to tiles with the added advantage that damage can be easily patched and repaired.

As an interior flooring solution, Spray Stone offers a smooth finish ideal for living areas, kitchens and rumpus rooms. It is tough, withstands scuffing, is easy to clean and cool in summer, a huge advantage in our south-east Queensland climate.

Spray Stone is also low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) which means it is low in odour and doesn’t carry the strong smells of some other spray-on flooring products.

Spray Stone is an ideal external floor covering with a natural stone-look well suited to outdoor living spaces including alfresco and barbecue areas. It also offers a consistent, stylish finish for driveways and entry areas.

Epoxy Flake Flooring

A seamless, decorative flake flooring solution that is robust, low maintenance and UV resistant.

Created from dry paint flakes in a coloured base, flake flooring is available in a wide range of colours and known for its speckled appearance.

Epoxy Flake flooring can be used interior and exterior and is ideal for overcoating existing concrete floors in large commercial spaces, creating an attractive garage floor epoxy finish, as well as for entries and alfresco areas. It is an ideal solution for covering existing stained, cracked or chipped concrete floor surface. Available in custom colours to suit your project.

Surface Preparation for flooring projects

For a quality finish on any flooring project, the surface must be properly cleaned and prepared. During the quoting process, Eco Coating Systems will assess the surface and advise if any of the following will be required prior to coating:

Grinding: to remove contaminants such as existing paint, glues and sticky residues from previous floor coatings. By grinding off the excess, we create a flat surface for coating. Dustless extraction means there is no mess and minimal dust in the air.
Crack repair with polyurea or epoxy resin
Resurfacing and/or levelling for a flat, honest surface
